Basile and Hervé are a dynamic duo who create elegant and rhythmic music born on the Artense plateau.
They achieve a paradoxical feat: to appropriate music and melodies of the region with their own unique style, sometimes with humor – a musical humor that is far from derision – always remaining at the service of the music.
Their approach is simply based on their love for the music.

Basile Bremaud wholeheartedly embraces the violin music developing his own vision marked by a strong connection to singing and dancing.
With a coherent aesthetic approach and in perfect harmony with Hervé, Basile embraces the richness and complexity of Artense music, taking into account both its archaic elements and the more modern influences that have nourished the playing of the region’s violinists.

Hervé Capel, originally from Salers and now living in Artense for 20 years, has been immersed in the traditional music and dance of Auvergne since childhood.
Thanks to his considerable experience playing the chromatic accordion and his great sensitivity, he expresses a style that perfectly fits the repertoire of the French Massif Central, which he shares and inspires a passion for.
Energy, swing, rhythm, and sense of variation are all hallmarks of his “trad” music, which he considers to be current.
