La Man Encantada is the shaman’s hand that upsets the will and discernment. You no longer know if the singer with the mandolin is taking us to the bars on the docks of Bordeaux or to some bayou in an imaginary delta, in the long rains of November on the heath of Gascony, or under a red lantern in the port of Shanghai. The accordion pumps like breathing after the embrace of a dance, while the bugle resonates with its brass warmth, here and tonight. But from the mandrake to the Mayan stall, the lost girl of the port, Asmodet always watches over this strange hand-shaped amulet.

Man Encantada offers a bal gascon sung in the òc language and dance classes. The beautiful melodies sung, traditional texts and original compositions, are rhythmically accompanied by the accordion and mandolin, and soar on the breath of the bugle.
