Rémi Geffroy was nurtured from an early age by folk, jazz and rock.
At the age of 10, he joined the conservatory with the diatonic accordion, and 4 years later learned the electric bass. He will dive with this instrument into modern music and enrich his music with deep nuances.
He then developed his sounds by learning the piano and the guitar.
Fascinated by the worlds of Yann Tiersen, Joe Hisaishi (Spirited Away,…), or the Italian pianist Ludovico Einaudi, he gradually gave birth to his own style.
He released his first album (Entre-deux in 2012), an EP (Parenthèse in 2014), and joined various groups such as the Celtic punks The Booze Brothers. Always eager to mix genres, he released his 2nd album in 2016 (Du jour au matin) and then set up a trio releasing his last album (Dose de bal in November 2019).
His particular style and his original compositions have taken him all over France and Europe for several years.
