Traditional dances, with a distinctive rhythm, are boldly reimagined here through compositions often inspired by the music of regions such as France, Ireland, West Africa, the Middle East, Scandinavia, and Cajun traditions.
Coming from different musical backgrounds, the four musicians of Cadène each bring their own unique touch, blending fiddles, chromatic accordion, cittern, and Central French bagpipes to speak a shared language: that of dance, sharing, and conviviality.
