Maybe it’s because the pleasures of the table and those of the ears, or rather of the spirit, belong to the same universe, or maybe it’s because we want to lift you and ourselves up, or because the bellows of the accordion pull, push, and pull again.
In any case, we cannot stop playing these beautiful traditional music. Tradition, connection with the territory, the soul of the people, the celebration, the dance: this is our world.
Claudio accompanied his adolescence with the guitar. Sometimes he acted as an apprentice concert guitarist in his classical guitar rehearsals, often spending long evenings singing around the campfire with the scouts. Then he discovered the accordion, immersing himself first in the music of the Occitan valleys, and then traveling musically a bit everywhere.
Rachel, a professional musician and flute teacher, devoted mainly to the splendid Baroque music, listened to the bands of Ticino when she was a child and navigated for a long time among reels, jigs, and hornpipes.
Claudio and Rachel have mixed their musical experiences over the past 15 years to create a blend of traditional and contemporary music from various regions, including Occitania, Ireland, Scotland, and Scandinavia. They emphasize the importance of listening, communicating, and dancing to create a connection between the musicians and their audience.
