That’s 68! The program this year is so rich! Take a look!
Much appreciated reconfirmations and many new artists to dance together on the stages!
And among the new additions are the Forró and Tango and Salsa practices!
Once again this year there will be a pagoda of Rox Records, the record company of dance folk.
You will find publications (CDs and books) and lots of music produced by Rox Records.
And then every day at 7:45 p.m. Musical Aperitif with presentation of new CDs, live music and a dance before dinner!
Dancers hurry up! Online registration will close on Monday 23 and the opportunity to take advantage of the discount, up to 25%, on the participation fee, reserved for early registrants.
Also this year the cafeteria will be open h24 and with further expanded offerings: large assortment of breakfast baked goods, ice cream, popsicles, coffee cream, soft drinks, excellent wines, pizzas, flatbreads, spritz and nuts!
Also, don’t you miss the gofri? Better and better and always prepared on the spot by the Proloco’s expert gofri makers!
But it doesn’t end there: this year you will also find gourmet sandwiches with selected ingredients and surprising combinations.
And to end on a sweet note? The irresistible apple pancakes, golden, fragrant and very soft…
Further enhanced shuttle service from the Ivrea Railway Station square (near the cab stand) to Vialfrè (and back). Free on Mondays and Sundays. On other days it is at a subsidized price by reservation (For reservations call Lucia: 3482241715 or Alberto: 3482261715).
In addition, for the duration of the Festival, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., a convenient shuttle service is offered free of charge from the parking lot at the entrance to the village to the Festival area and back.
Let’s use the car less, protect the environment!
At Grand Bal Trad you will find: Neotrad, Bal Folk, Bourrées, Piedmont dances, French tradition, dances from all over Europe!
But also many groups for lovers of southern Italian rhythms.

At the Grand Bal Trad, under the cool branches, there is the Forest of Violin Makers!
Violins, accordions, flutes, hurdy-gurdies, harps, fifes, mandolins, guitars, bagpipes… the group of exhibitors is growing!
If you register in advance with the Association (by 23/06), paying 20€ now, you can enjoy a discount, up to about 25%, on the Festival Participation fee that you will pay directly to Vialfrè!!!

But also culture! In fact, we have a rich program of lectures this year, because the love of traditional folk music and dances also comes through studying and researching the historical contexts in which they developed and evolved.
In addition to being able to attend the festival for free, the little ones (up to 15 years old) will find activities for them at Gran Bal Trad: entertainment for the little ones and musical entertainment for the older ones!
